I offer a completely personal custom portrait session either in your home, at the location of your choice, or both.
First, we will have an initial consultation to discuss your needs. I like to use this time to learn about you, your family, and whoever else will be starring in your portraits. Wardrobe, location, scheduling and pricing will all be covered in this consultation. After you book a session, we will need to decide where we will shoot your session. You tell me the feel you are hoping for and we can go from there. (i.e. outdoors, urban, in your home)
The portrait session will typically range between 1.5 - 2 hours, depending on how many people, wardrobe changes and/or location changes are involved. This is only an estimate, however. You are not required to arrive early, however, our sessions start at the appointment time. Please make sure all subjects are ready to be photographed.
For family sessions, I may do a combination of family shots, individual shots, and others as requested. I may do a combination of posed as well as candid shots. These are the more natural shots. Please understand sometimes kids are done. And when they are done, they are DONE!! We have fun and the session is a relaxed atmosphere.
Individual portrait sessions (including engagement) will focus on the individual(s). I may pose you or I may let things happen on there own. The goal is to relax and have fun.
*If you find you are not completely satisfied with your images, I am happy to re-shoot your session. I don’t want you to worry going into your session that your investment in portraits hinges on one day. I want you to be happy.
